Families whose children have special needs are welcome to participate in the worshipping life of our congregation. Our goal is to support each family member in a way that allows both children and parents to experience God’s presence in worship and God’s love through relationship.
For many families, our ministry involves providing separate care for a child while other family members attend worship. In these cases, our special needs ministry assigns a coordinator to each family, and that coordinator assists in developing a team of volunteers who can help care for your child. This care is provided in a classroom in our main worship building.
If you would prefer that your child participates in age-appropriate children’s classes with other peers, we are happy to work with you in providing this experience. We request that one parent attend class alongside your child for a first visit, and then connect with our Children’s Ministry Director - Kristin Devine Mueller so that we know how best to support your family in the future.
